What makes Kaizo-X Unique?

FIRST, we pair simple-to-understand education and personalized exercise plans with professional mentorship that meets you where you are and compels you to believe in yourself, consistently.

SECOND, we believe in “DEEP HEALTH” which means being healthy in all domains of human experience. These are physical health, mental health, emotional health, existential health, relational-social health, nutritional health and environmental health.

THIRD, when we have deep health, we are able to grow, adapt, evolve, and even excel as human beings. We are no longer surviving, WE ARE THRIVING.

Phase 1: Assessment

We will uncover your history, needs, goals, movement patterns, ranges of motion & skill level. We do this by performing a Joint-by-joint movement screens, custom competency, strength balance and tolerance tests and interviews. The goal is to get clarity on where you are and where you want to go.

Phase 2: Acclimate

We begin corrective work, custom 1:1 in person at a specific cadence. We develop confidence and competence. The goal is to create an understanding around application of intensity and how to communicate with your coach.

Phase 3: Ascend

We develop autonomy and enhance a foundation of a more resilient mind and body. This is done with proper dosing of custom programming, individualized group classes, and 1:1 in person training and consultations. The goal is to gain autonomy in the base movements, elevate your skills, and work on mastering application of intensity.

Phase 4: Reclaim

We start to apply learned skills to live in a pain-free and active life. We do this with continuation of previous phase with added guidance from your coach to safely pursue and progress activities outside of the gym. The goal is to be able to reclaim your active life safely.

Discovery Call

Schedule your free discovery call with one of our professionals. The purpose of this call is for us to learn if we are a good fit to help you by asking questions and answering yours. If we are the perfect fit to help, we’ll book an in-person consultation. If not, we will make a local referral to another trusted professional


During your free consultation, we will revisit goals, assess ranges of motion, deliver pertinent educational content, and begin crafting your custom plan to accomplish your health, fitness, and lifestyle goals.


During your first 2-4 weeks you will work 1 on 1 with a professional to create a functional diagnosis, list of success metrics, and your custom exercise prescription.



Once you achieve freedom of movement and no longer need 1 on 1 sessions, you can join our small group (Ascend) sessions. During these sessions, each client is performing their own custom program at a set session time with a maximum of 10 clients during that time. During these sessions, a professional is actively ensuring that everyone is receiving coaching, cueing, correcting, and feedback so you’re never left wondering “Am I doing this right?” This phase includes monthly mentorship meetings with your lead professional to discuss progress, review relevant education, and reassess as needed.


Where do I start?

Before we enroll anyone, we do a consultation. We are extremely invested in helping our clients reach their goals, so we only advise people to enroll if we fully believe that we can help. Kaizo-X has two exceptional personal training locations in Fairfax and Rockville.
